教学目标	Can listen and say new words, a piece of meat ,butcher, dropped,bridge, better.
重点难点	Master sentence:A is/are more…than B.
教法设想	情境比较与图片教学
课前准备	Word cards,teaching pictures and teaching tapes.			修改建议
教学过程：Step 1 Warming up 1. Greeting and duty report. 2. Sing the English song 3. Revise:There are more…in Picture… Step 2 Presentation and drill 1. show a child’s photo and say: T: Look at this picture. Do you know who he is? Let ss guess it. Ss: Is he your brother/classmate/…? Draw picture and teaching word: bridge. Understand “across” 2. Listen to the tape Part B and read after it. Step 3 Fast reading and listening. 1. Show teaching pictures.Let ss fast reading part A and answer the questions. 2. Listen to the tape Part A and read after it. Step 4 Intensive reading Reading Part A and finish excise Part C. Step 5 Consolidation 1. Assisment. 2. Practise. 3. Homework. Copy the new words and recite the text Part A.
